Why We Are 4LIFE

And introduction into who the founder is

Elizabeth Danielle Parker is the founder and facilitator of the 4LIFE community outreach and implementation program. She grew up in a black pro-life family, led by her pro-life pastor parents. Elizabeth has served not only on the board of a pregnancy resource center but also has served/worked in pregnancy resource centers.

She assisted her family and community in launching a non-profit pregnancy resource center, as the launching interim Executive Director. Now because of her, and her family's and community's efforts, they've launched the Pregnancy Care & Hope Center medical mobile unit that serves the Mississippi Delta and surrounding areas, providing all of its services for free. She has also worked at leading organizations in the pro-life movement in various leadership roles. She is passionate about the media, film production and entertainment industry, where she has worked on independent and major motion picture films. Elizabeth also Produced and Directed The Life Film Festival event hosted in Baton Rouge, LA, where film entries were accepted & reviewed, film screenings with panelist held, and awards/cash given to festival selection winners. For the times we are in, she believes and has made it a core pillar of 4LIFE's mission, the importance of using film, media, and entertainment as vehicles to drive home the Christ centered womb to tomb Biblical 4LIFE message, beyond just a movement, but as a complete lifestyle. Elizabeth has also worked in the social media industry in assisting a social media company based in South Korea launch their American office in Los Angeles, CA. Her heart to want to see the pro-life movement take Christ centered Biblical next steps in community cross cultural bridge building, especially into the black/minority communities, with a missionary mindset and heart set, comes from a place of experience in seeing the ups and downs of the pro-life movement.

What is it to be 4LIFE

To be 4LIFE does not mean we don't work with those who call themselves Pro-Life. To be 4LIFE is to value life from the womb to tomb from a Christ centered Biblical perspective, proactively. In specific ways that build bridges across racial cultures. Seeking to help others, especially in the black/minority communities to do so from a spirit, soul, mind, & body perspective (a whole lifestyle). 4LIFE does this by going on HBCU campuses (Historical Black College Campuses) and into the surrounding communities, as well as non-HBCU campuses, to disciple students & community members to be all that God has called them to be for his glory. We believe that life starts at conception and should be considered sacred and protected from womb to tomb. We also believe in taking the time and resources to mentor students and community members to be 4LIFE community leaders and to effect Christ centered change through their daily lives/occupations. The main area of change we are focusing on is developing courageous leaders who are grounded in the word of God using the communication vehicle of film, media, and entertainment to drive home these messages. We want to help grow leaders who will address evangelism, discipleship, and outreach ministry through the lens of the Biblical 4LIFE womb to tomb Christ centered message.

The Missionary Mindset and Heart-set

This is also done with the objective of building bridges across cultural lines with Caucasian evangelicals/and or pro-life organizations who have a heart to bring and live out the pro-life message amongst minority communities, with a missionary mindset and heart set. A missionary mindset and heart set means to not only be in it for the long haul but be invested in it. This means to be invested in growing and learning how to effectively share their hearts mission, also giving of their time and resources, while valuing the whole person who they are sharing their message/mission with, valuing them as a whole person from womb to tomb. The missionary mindset and heart set also encompasses showing character, integrity, trustworthiness all the things that anyone would expect from others who claim to genuinely care for them. Our heart is to partner with those who are willing to learn and grow as they share the pro-life mission or fully come alongside the 4LIFE mission.
